Need a backcountry istructor
Share tips, techniques, or anything else related to flying.
Hi all,
This is my first BCP post. Been lurking in the shadows off and on for the past couple years.
I have a 206 based near Portland and I'd like to learn how to fly it safely, competently, and confidently in and out of the backcountry landing strips in the Northwest. Can you guys recommend a good CFI in the area who knows how to fly a 206 in the backcountry? If there are no good options in the area for a backcountry CFI, then maybe just an experienced backcountry pilot, nonCFI, who knows the territory and would be a good co-pilot/mentor? Any recommendations / referrals with contact info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Curious
