Finally got around to starting my Annual and installing some of these avionics I have been waiting to install. I really wanted the Avionics in before the Montana trip I did this summer, but between shops being booked up and time flying by I wasn't able to get it done in time. I still feel like it is a little overkill for my plane but it will be nice to have all the extra situational awareness.
Installing a GNX-375, GNC255, PAR200B and getting rid of my old NARCO stuff, I'm going to sell off my Tailbeacon to recoop some funds if anyone is looking for one.

This is only part 1.... More to come!

Oh yea gotcha, yea that was the Panel Designer from Hangarflying.com that I originally used to see how everything would fit. I ended up doing the G5s last year because I got the JPI-900 as part of the Stoots engine conversion, so I needed to redo the panel anyway...I just tried to set it up for how I wanted it in the end. In all honesty it will be nice to be able to do some light IFR especially in congested airspace if needed; however, I did all those trips to FL,MT,ID,ME,IL and did just fine looking outside

you have a nice way of showing your aviation world clearly. Videos are well edited, you have comfort with the camera, and do this without bragging which is hard to do. A very cool plane helps also.

If your Hedgesville is the one in West Virginia, what avionics shop do you use?

Thank you, I originally started making videos for fun, and to share adventures with friends and family…but I know how much I have relied on others in the aviation community for help, tips, and advice so I’m trying to pay that forward too. ..and yes the plane is starting to come together, it was pretty rough when I bought it and it has been a constant process of improvement!!

. I have called all the avionics shops up and down the Shenandoah Valley, Winchester,Harrisonburg, Hagerstown….ultimately I decided to go a different route and do the avionics install myself. Originally a year ago I installed the Garmin G5s, GMU-11, JPI EDM-900 all when I did the panel, but now I am installing the GNX-375,GNc-255, par-200b and integrating them to the existing avionics. I paid Nelson Aviation (in Florida) to build me a harness and ship it ready to install. This allows me to have a shorter down time and he will stand by any warranty/installation claims I have with Garmin if something comes up.
