Just a quick post to introduce myself. My real name is Pete and I live and fly in beautiful BC, Canada. I'm a proud new owner of a '58 175 that's currently sick (I'll save that for another post/category). I'm also a partner in a '72 150 (for sale).
Love this site and look forward to learning and contributing.
Cheers.

Welcome Pete! And welcome to the sick plane crowd. Mine has been sick for over 2 years

I'm just a bench flyer right now. Enjoy this site and hope you get your plane going back and healthy real soon!

Thanks all. My first barrage of questions is in the maintenance section.
Matt, a Stinson 108 was on the top of the heap for me. I was really wanting one of those but just couldn't pass up the deal on the 175.
Yours is beautiful.
Pete

Thanks Pete. Sounds like you got a smoking deal on the 175, I hope to see it flying soon.

I'm in the Vancouver area. Ok, even worse- Surrey. Why? Well, family & work mostly.
I've spent some time in the north but never lived there. Have always wanted to give it a try though. Just have to figure out how to bring along the work and hopefully the family too
