DR,
Welcome,
I enjoy your side of the hill. I have been into BIH many times over the years and really like the HWY 395 airstrip / airports from Bridgeport down to Lonepine.
We are planning to meet on the 28th at Furnace Creek. If you get a chance to you should join us.
I was wondering about the Chicken Strip. Do you know if it's usable again? I know the Park Service said it had washed out and they didn't have funds to repair it but reading between the lines it sounded like there were enviro issues at work.
I also want to see about a breakfast at Bridgeport, like the boyz did in Feb. last year. I'll start a new post about that I guess...
Look forward to meeting you. The M6 looks awesome.

I checked out Chicken strip about a month ago and it was still washed out. It is well known that the park sup. wants to close it. I am sure it has nothing to do with money.
I will check again this weekend and post the status...

THIS IS COOL! It shows off the runway very well.
Have a look at the Long Canyon link on our web:
