I was asked way back in my salad days to contribute $2500 to buy 100 acres of Hollister farmland to build a private airport. It was the silliest thing I ever heard of. Or so I thought. Never being one to take advantage of an opportunity when it knocks, I let it go. Now, 100 of my old flying buddies from back in the '80s own Fraser airpark.
