Thanks Drifter! Where are you keeping your cubby? I just moved mine over to Merrill a couple of days ago. I don't think I'm going to do skis this season, as I'm really just trying to get used to the taildragger still. A nice set of wheel skis would be pretty sweet though. What about you?

I’m no longer in Anchorage, but when I was there I parked my plane at a private airport.

I'd wait till spring to go to Bushwheels, if you're going to keep it at Merrill this winter. Those buffed 29s will do anything you'll want to do till you get a better handle on the plane. I'd do the prop first, if you're planning a Borer prop, which I recommend.

Congrats on the purchase. You'll love it.

I do think I'll go that route, might as well keep current 29s if I'm going to be landing/taxing on the pavement all winter. Still trying to figure out an A&P to sign off on my engine preheater when I install it. After that, the prop will probably be next on the agenda.
