newbie introducing himself

Hello, f4phantom here. I am new to chat lines as well as bcp. I guess I should tell a little about myself. I am an a&p, I.A. private pilot. I now live in St. Louis. I picked f4phantom because that was the aircraft I worked on in the marines. I am excited about tomarrow, I am joining a flying club with a cessna 120. I don't have a tailwheel endorsement though over the years as an a&p I have been in and flown a few. Enough about me. Tell me about you. If any one has any advice on c-120's please let me know. thank you.

Welcome abroad. I dont have much 120 time, but they seem like a nice taildragger. Zane runs a good site, and there is bound to be some good advice here. Have fun.

first day as a club member, rudde pedal needed.

The first day as a club member was good I've been voted in and elected as director of maintenance all in the same meeting. My first duty as D.O.M. is to find a rudder pedal . One of the other members flew the plane last week and the pivot pin for the right side right rudder came loose and jammed the travel of the rudder on final. Not liking the limited travel, he stomped harder on the rudder, the pin cocked and broke one of the ears off. A small price to pay for full rudder authority! The year of the plane is 1946, c-120.thanks for the welcome.

F-4 Phantom, I am a PPSEL and fly a 1959 Cessan 182. An old straight tailed 182. I have about 1300 hours in this airplane. I fly some in the backcountry of Idaho. I live in Vale, OR. S49. I have a few videos of the places I have flown into here: www.youtube.com/skybobb You can search Big Creek, Sulphur Creek, or Chamberlin Basin. There are some others of sites in Oregon. Bob
