Nice little canyon in norther NM and some utah stuff

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

What a cool place to fly!
I kept waiting for the stall, I know you had to fight the plane from flying into that canyon. :D

Great videos! Can you post some of those to shortfield.com? We need more information on those Utah strips!

Hey Chris

I went to your site to upload landing at some of the strips I went to the other day, but after uploading the files to vimeo, I deleted the videos from my files. Is there a way to take them from Vimeo to your website. Obviously you are much better at this than me. Feel free to put the ones on there that you like.

I was going to add a little pilot report. As of Sat., Hidden Splendor and Dirty Devil were in great shape. Gateway was good where the snow was. There was a small dry section. The rest was thawing and wet/sloppy/slimey mud.

Cal Black will be going to 85 octane mogas when this this tank of 87 is gone. He said it had been painfully quiet there. He usually does a good job of trying to keep his fuel costs down, so it would be nice to give him a little support if you are in the area. That being said, he is stuck with some 100LL that he bought when prices were high, and is selling for his cost @$4/gal. e's a real nice guy(Cal)
