Picture taken May 31st just west of Fish Lake from 7500 feet. Still plenty of snow in the mountains.

Hope you can drop in for another visit Rob. I have become a slave to my property mowing, weed whacking, painting and such, but I'm having fun.

Still contemplating a small fly-in in early October.

I'm planning a cross country from AK to AL in 2015 and would love to stop by for a night. Would this be out of the question?

Best Part-time Job Ever

Hello Backcountry Pilots,
I think I have the best part-time job ever. Spent the last couple days over in Montana flying helicopters and airplanes. The Montana Dept. of Fish & Wildlife has a small fleet of helicopters to include a Hughes 500, Bell Jet Rangers, Super-cubs and a partenavia. The Bob Marshall Wilderness Area is truly spectacular. Just wish I could have seen it though all the clouds and rain. :?

1240 feet with about 900 usable due to powerlines and 80 foot cottonwood trees. If your into whitewater I'd consider it a Class 5 airport.

Got a picture of this mountain lion on my driveway/game camera. Now its game on!
