Pretty good day today. We have been flying these circuits so much I figure I would start a thread for the areas we fly and post pics here. Had Lowrider and Splashpilot out for the fun today. The weather could not have been better! Ran a number of spots as you we see in the photos.

The dry lakes are in great shape right now. I don't think we've had measurable precip in over two months.
Lake Lahontan still has a fair amount of water, but with this drought year a coming, levels are gonna drop fast. Plenty of usable shoreline for your C182 Bill.... Same with the east shore of Walker Lake.
Found some fun ones yesterday! Man it has been good flying weather! Almost landed at 13,800' but freaked myself out given it was Friday the 13th... I did find one that I landed (but does not count as I was to puckered and fired up to get out for the photo) that could be one of the coolest landings I have ever made. Given the location, elevation and grade of the slope, I just wanted to turn and burn and get out of there. Next time I will get a pic...If I ever go back... Anyhow, here are some photos from the deep south part of the circuit.
This is the one!!! ...it sits at about 13,200" or so. The landing on this one runs from 730 - 230..uphill toward the big cliffs in the top right of pic I love finding signs like this in the middle of nowhere.. 515pm almost home..

That is beautiful. You need a turbocharger, big guy.
