Norcal-Cape Canaveral-LAX

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Norcal-Cape Canaveral-LAX

Took the big airplane out on a quick trip on Monday. We hit Cape Canaveral and LAX so thought I'd post a few things since that is a little bit out of the normal for us. We missed the X9 Rocket Launch by less than 12 hours #-o

Approach to LAX...This does not even compare to the STAR that started 100 miles out before you even get on the approach.

Re: Norcal-Cape Canaveral-LAX

As bored as I am now, I appreciate stuff like this! Cool pictures! Thanks for sharing!

I've been working more at our office in Cypress, CA. and our office building is just about right under RWY 22 approach path for Los Alamitos Army Airfield (KLSI). I hadn't seen any C5's in a while, but they used to come and go more often. In fact, not too much big stuff and jets in and out anymore :( Mostly just helicopters and King Airs.
