Northeast ski trip

We had a really nice trip over the last week, a combination of ski flying and skiing.

Re: Northeast ski trip

Nice! Looks like a great time.

I love skiing and flying, but I was always reluctant to mix the two because good storms and good flying don't exact go well together.

Re: Northeast ski trip

Yes Zzz, lots of weather strategy takes place during these trips. This one worked out perfectly, other than heading home one day early to avoid a freezing rain event.

Sugarloaf and Sunday River in Maine promote this activity; free tie downs(with an electrical outlet at each for engine heat) and a free shuttle to the mountain. These also have the shortest airport to mountain distance thatI’m aware of. Plymouth Airfield in NH was a great strip, but was 45 minutes to Loon.

Re: Northeast ski trip

Should have stopped in at our place. Crappy winter for ski flying, only went out three times
