I watched it on fb....I was only going to watch a little....it's addicting! Awesome real life video!!! For some reason I couldn't watch without smiling.

The rock sawing was east of Dease Lake. There's lots of Jade mining back there. You can't tell a Jade boulder from any other rock for certain unless you cut into it. They want to check for colour, and cracks also. The valuable stuff is then transported out of the bush. Aircraft, cat train, or truck.

I remember the Sande family. Good people. Well respected. Flying for them would have been a dream come true. Backbreaking work though, loading and unloading all that cargo. They ran one of the safest, and reputable bush charter outfits I've ever heard stories about.

Alaska during that time was the same.......... :wink: single Otter was the only plane I ever flew where u had to push the nose down to go up #-o
