Not flying today

I use that same website for weather. I found it back when I flew Powered Parachutes. The wind forecast is generally very accurate. I wish these systems would stick around for a while and dump some moisture. Seems the past two weeks it'll be 70 and calm one day and 50 and blowing 30 the next over and over again. Can't really complain about it compared to the rest of the country in the winter but we could really use the moisture. According to my weather station at home we have had 4.1 inches of rain since November. #-o

Had to test fly the Maule around the patch at KRDD at about 1p. Gotta love the 35kt wind at 3500 ft. Oh well, at least the GPS worked and my landing on 16 with the winds 21018G24 didn't suck

This, and the current weather, is all bad news as I am looking for a hole to head back up north. Not as concerned about the wind as I am about the vis. We'll see!

Woke up this am and checked the weather station that is on my roof. At 4 AM we had a gust of 95mph. :!: Did not sleep alot last night .sounded like a freight train was going to run me over all night.
