If you're not scarin' yourself, you're not scarin' the crowd!

Why did I bother getting married with you around?! How's your cookin'?
Was going to make the post of "Where did you fly today?" but after reading this, I'll put it here. So sorry, no pictures today, dumbass, (me) forgot the camera. Five Moose, dozens of snow machines and a couple of dog teams (2 with twenty or so per team) were my high lights of the 2.3 hours today. Have a nearby field (Willow) that is ski friendly for fuel. Stopped there on the pretense of getting fuel and had to burn a little excess off (a likely story...).
Smooth air once I got out of our valley and a great day otherwise. Did eight landings getting the hang of the skis, told the wife that I did a number of wheel landings (two pointers), I got THAT look. I'm not on wheels anymore, why call them wheel landings right? I'm going to fabricate some excuse to go to the cabin tomorrow and be quiet, look, smell and generally enjoy everything.
A side note; My Labs know what the plane sounds like. Just like when I drive in the driveway after work, so too when I cross the house and land on the lake and taxi into our lagoon, the dogs are waiting and wagging at the window.
I had a neighbor stop by and introduce himself today, he is one of the BCP crowd. Another addition to the list of decent people I have met here.
Life is good, rich and full.
