Off road vehicle?

After a little persistence, the people in Boise came through with my request for a ORV sticker for the S-7S. I sent them a copy of my airworthiness cert, and it's registration inc. serial #. The serial # gave them something to hang their hat on, without something approximating what they were use to dealing with, they were unsure as to how to proceed. It cost 12 bucks, and will expire at the end of the year, but the renew should be no sweat, now that I'm in the system. As to why I bothered, use your imagination. It can't hurt, is what I figure, a "just in case", or "what if" thing. Covering up a scratch on the boot cowl didn't hurt either.

As a dirt bike rider I'd say it can't hurt, I find it kinsa cool, and seems to me you should be allowed t go where ATV's go.

OHV permit makes sense. NIce work. Love the Hypertherm sticker. They are the only units I supply with my plasma tables.

Leaving aside the practical aspects, what a fun idea. I'd like to get one if you have notes on how to make it happen...

You're the first to pick up on that, most assume it's some new mod to the Rotax......, and I let them think that. I just liked the way it sounded!

Department of Parks and Recreation in Boise is how I got mine:208-514-2472

Re: Off road vehicle?

Now your registered as an ORV and the LEOs will have leg to stand on when citing you for landing "off trail." Without the sticker they might not know what to do but now they could spot the sticker and think, "Yep, ORVs are not allowed here" and they will even have a ORV Registration Number to list on the citation. Better get you a Forest Service and BLM Motor Vehicle Use map so you know where you can operate your ORV. Hope I'm wrong but that is my initial thought.
