Thanks for posting the link. It took me an afternoon of stolen moments between patients but I enjoyed it. Reminds me how blessed I am to live near the Idaho backcountry and have a Maule to get there.

Fake news! Those guys doing all that cool flying without tailwheels? Sounds suspect.

Thanks for posting. Brings back memories from late 80's and 90's and hanging out at McCall Air Taxi. Still remember flying over from Cody one morning and McCall and New Meadows were both fogged in. Was funny, the lake was clear but the airport was zero zero. Bill Dorris asked about the grass strip just west of town by the Little Ski Hill and it was good so I landed and here he came in his Suburban. Went back later. Jim Eldredge lived on that strip and helped him buck a few rivets when he was rebuilding his 180.

Sarah was a pilot for McCall Air Taxi back in the early 90's and rode with me into Cabin Creek and some other strips. Anyone know what happened to her?

the 206 is the pickup of the back country.. you don't need a tail wheel ... but i love my Maule....good to see Lori on film.....i remember sleeping on the couch at McCall air waiting out weather back in the late 90's ... trying to get into JC... I got the couch first... 3 other pilots got the floor...lol
