Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

pa 14 fuel tanks

what fuel tanks should we put in the PA 14 project? the original ones need quite a few mods for the bigger engine and the super cub sight glasses so I suggested the much lighter ones from wag-aero but more than one person has told me they are junk. does anyone have experience with them?
weight and dependibility are the main concerns. larger copasity would be nice but will likely be sacrificed for weight savings. anyone know what the atlee dodge ones weigh?

When you get ready to install those large tanks, put up a post on sc.org asking for how best to install. Those tanks had a really bad history of cracking until people figured out how best to install them.

My preference would be the Dakota tanks. Somewhat smaller than the Atlee tanks, as in about the RIGHT amount of fuel, and they have a good history in service.
