Thanks for sharing, Greg! As always, your skills are truly humbling to behold.
Looking forward to the Snake River TR!

Wow, your strip makes mine look like LAX.

Such great entertainment. I love these videos that make you feel like you are there in the plane. Thanks.

Thank you for the inspiration.

Great combination of pilot and plane. Thanks. Take your wife along more often and maybe she'll change her mind on a couple trees or just let you move them over a bit. If all else fails inject some tordon under the bark and when it dies she will want it out of there and you will be a good guy for it. The only thing not to envy in that video is the all or nothing quality of takeoff and landings at your strip. Beautiful location.

Lynn Sanderson (Dirtstrip) passed away from natural causes in May 2013. He was a great contributor and will be missed dearly.
I have been coming and going from my little strip for about 4-5 years now, I never take passengers not counting my dog (who whimpers every time). I made the rule from day one that it is me only that will take the risk, my wife was just out with me last Friday all afternoon. She is a good flying buddy and knows the kind of places I land for fun so she does not think about the dangers of the home strip anymore then any other place I choose to land, she has been with me into some pretty crazy places. I have a friend with a nice 1100' strip about 5 minutes away so when I need to haul a load of passengers/gear it is off to his place for the pick up.
It is not ideal but if I treat it with respect I hope to use it for 15-20 years. I think the airplane I am building might make it easier but that is going to be awhile.

Anyway, I enjoyed the footage this morning. Pretty impressive.
Great video, thanks

Vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capability would help
