Photo request

Developing an article on the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Does anyone have some photos of flying in and/or around the big passes?

In particular I'm looking for an air-to-air shot of another aircraft in the mountains, kinda like this one I took of Prosaria (but maybe better?)

Thanks!

Re: Photo request

I don't have any air-to-air shots but I think I could dig up some descent photos of some of the central/northern passes: Rollins (Corona), Rabbit Ears, Cameron, and maybe Loveland.

If you're interested, do you want them emailed?

Seems like in the past Mtn Matt had some really nice photos of some of the southern areas.

Re: Photo request

I grabbed some pictures when I went through La Veta Pass on my way to La Garita.

Let me know if you wanna take a look.

Re: Photo request

In discussion with another BCP'er on a tactical photo recon mission to get some cool air-to-air shots for this.

How soon do you need it?

If you need a second camera guy, let me know. I'm no professional, but I have taken some good shots. Have a basic Nikon DSLR, could rent a good tele lense for the trip.

Cool, I will let you know! I'm either shooting pictures or flying the plane, don't have a strong preference either way.

My larger issue at the moment is the chase plane, but working on it. If Zane can wait a little while we can just use my 182 and fly it without the door (yay for STC's!) for some great photo opportunities, but I still have a few important things to do before it's airborne again. Otherwise I am trying to secure an alternate now.

I am completely game to hang half out a door with a rented telephoto lense! If my Pacer was a bit more seasoned (and I was too) I'd offer it. But I better stick with the camera.
