Saw a lot of good people at La Garita Fly-In this year. Pilots flew in from 5 different states.The San Luis Valley of Colorado is turning in to a great spot for backcountry flying in Colorado. Overall 32 planes and 75+ people attended. Many thanks to the great hosts of La Garita Creek Ranch, the Trading Post, Celia of Castle Lakes, and Carly & Donnie from Hooper Hot Springs Pool. Thanks to everyone who made this happen,including Mtnmatt, Mtnwest, Beekeeper, and the rest of the great folks who put a *lot* of sweat and effort into getting the airstrip into shape.

Thanks to the Hooper hot springs staff for rolling out the red carpet for us on a perfect day as well.

Special thanks go to the great folks at La Garita Ranch for opening up their slice of heaven for the rest of us- and providing incredible support for opening the airstrip. I'm looking forward to going back.
