Pilot Crashes Into 4 Buildings

Pilot Crashes Into 4 Buildings

Brace yourself before looking at the image below. A pilot at low level has no control over his aircraft. It narrowly misses a crowd gathered for the airshow and slams into four buildings.

One can only imagine the horror of the occupants inside those buildings.

Well, he had his hands full, considering the onboard fire and no flight controls.

Oh, now I understand where those blue stained underwear came from.

Re: Pilot Crashes Into 4 Buildings

Reminds me of about 10 years back at one of the airshows at our airport. A Skyraider fired up on the line & was taxing to the runway. The pilot throttled up the big 'ol R-3350 & swung the tail around. The propwash hit 2 porta-John's & they started rocking back & forth. One tiped over backwards & the other was soon evacuated by an unfortunate older lady who was quite "shaken up"! :D

Think about being tipped over in an outhouse when it's about 2 days past needing to be pumped out. Not a pleasant thought. Blue stains would be a big improvement.

Ha... Especially if you were in there when it fell over on the door.. I had to clean up the one at the airport once when the wind blew it over... Whew... It went everywhere.

I flew balloons for quite a few years too, brings back some fun memories. If someone's knees are shaking, you can really feel it in the basket. Sometimes I could even bring on this phenomenon by just leaning over the side and shouting to my wife on the ground below "Oh Shit, Teresa, can you see if I locked the bottom trap door??"
