I'm thinking about flying down there this weekend to visit some family, probably be there from Sunday thru Wednesday night. Any thoughts or opinions on the airport?? Family will be in the palm desert area so this is the closest airport, easier for them to pick me up. Originally thought I would be driving down there so that I'd have my own ride when I got there, but the more I think about a 5-1/2 hour drive, the more I want to fly....a quick 2 hour trip for the wagon.

Wx could be an issue for the return trip, and I gotta get back to work, so I might still drive but just looking for any insight the group has. Any BCP'ers down there?? Playing golf tuesday and wednesday, so maybe go bomb around the local area a bit on Monday...would love to have a local guide to fly next to Suggestions on any cool spots to visit nearby?? Flying or otherwise?
