Not heard anything on this end. Harney County hasn't called me to fly.

I'll keep the scanner on and eyes and ears open.

Robert "Bub" Wright, aka Skylane, passed away in November of 2011. He was a beloved community member and will be missed.

Yesterday morning Tim said he had my number and would call if he was coming by.

I saw a post from him in the afternoon an thought he was probably home by then....I sure hope he was

Where is duffer peak?

I can certainly fly if they need help looking

Just got word. It was a helicopter hunting cyotes. The story goes hard set down set off ELT. They took off and were flying and the SAR guys were having trouble locating the moving ELT. They finaly caught up with the helicoter and resolved the ELT signal.

All good.


Oops! Unfortunatly I have landed a few times, that I checked the ELT before I parked. :oops: Glad it was just that and not someone down out in that country.
