Beautiful video thanks for sharing. I needed to see that.

It's been lousy weather, have not flown in a month. In the 20 or so years I've been a pilot that's the longest I've ever gone grounded.

I needed to be reminded that flying in the PNW indeed can happen.

Great Video. I am in Europe waiting for snow and we haven't seen a cloud for a month...... Actually nearly two months.

Mountain Doctor, Im finding flying in the PNW in winter, its the best flying I have ever done, yes a spell of 3 and 4 bad weather days then a spell of 4 , 5 days with great amazing calm and clear weather.
When is good, its time to go fly . :D

Re: PNW and Idaho flying.

I also like cold weather flying and do not shy away from it but it's been IMC here almost all the time for weeks, and if/when it's VFR I'm working or there is too much snow to dig the hangar out to the taxiway or the plane is not preheated.

Even if I could have VFR here the rest of the PNW is IMC so it's just been a %$#@ of a winter. I hate it. I really would like to see some of that Global Warming the greenies have been promising. This is the worst winter in eastern WA in 51 years. Certainly I've never seen anything this bad in the 11 years I've been out here.

It also put the kabash on my bicycle training and motorcycles. I also have a new (used) 500+HP German car I'd like to play with that has been garaged for more than 3 weeks now...

I know, 1st World problems!

Thanks for listening to my rant though.
