Super nice work. Well flown.
Looks pretty hazardous, more than I'd take on. The run between the trees, and the driftwood log just to the right of the 'centerline' and what looks like softball sized rocks could be hard on a plane.
As much as I enjoyed landing on the Columbia River gravel bars by my home I gave up on it because I got tired of punching holes in the bottom of my fuselagage and horizontal stabilizer. I suppose the Cessna's metal skins are better than my fabric but those rocks would still leave a mark!
Again, well flown!

Motoadve,
Power adequate for climbing turn out, but why not a right rudder turn in low ground effect to go down the river still in low ground effect if necessary. It gets dicey when we wait until we need it.
Good landing and takeoff.

I enjoy the posters videos and I'm familiar with the high water/navigable water argument, but that particular spot happens to be encompassed within the Snohomish County Heirman Wildlife Preserve and park. There are a number of houses on the opposite side of the river and this area is frequented by fisherman during pink salmon and steelhead season so your chance of going unnoticed is virtually nil. I'm not scolding anyone but you may attract some unwanted attention if you choose to land this site and it might be something to consider. There are a number of much more secluded and equally as challenging spots available just up river from this spot. Check out the Snohomish County Assessors web page and property map program they call SCOPI if you're looking for a more detailed boundary of this area.

Not going back to that one then, this was a couple of months ago, should be under water now.
