Portland Area Tour Courtesy of Rob and Zane

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Portland Area Tour Courtesy of Rob and Zane

One Maule, dinner with BCP friends, and about a dozen strips or so. That's how I spent my afternoon and one of the best overnights I've ever had while on the road for work. Zane picked me up from my hotel and soon we were headed to Pacific City. After some great food at the Oar House, Rob took us on a tour of a whole bunch of strips on the round about way back to Troutedale. Here are some pics. I had my Drift with me. Hopefully some video turned out. I'll try to get some posted in the next week or so.

Rob and Zane, thanks so much! I had a great time hanging out today. So cool to have friends to hook up with in different parts of the country!

On the way home we landed approx 10 airstrips just to give Cory the Greater Portland Airstrip Tour. Thanks Rob, nice flying. Lenhardt...never better.

Beaver Oaks...there's actually a Beaver there if you look closely.

Exquisite evening to be flying, nice air and breathtaking sunset.

Nice. Sorry I missed seeing GrassStripPilot. Was that Flying-M landing (going around) opposite the usual approach?
