My in-laws have an old ranch in western Oklahoma. i have flown over it a couple times but never landed. Also walked the field many times, and always think about landing there. i am about 99 percent sure i could do it, but the ditches that run across the field have kept me from trying it. the whole field is over 2000ft long. i usually eat up about 800 ft on takeoff and landing, and was hoping to set down between the ditches so i don't have to do any tractor work. I would love to be able to fly in here and check on things occasionally since it is a 2 1/2 hour drive from home. Anyone close to western OK that wants to give it a try with a more capable plane, let me know and we can set something up. any feedback on the strip would be appreciated. stay warm ya'll.
