Ahh Powers...everything Jr says is true (Dueling Banjos playing in background.) I think the beauty of the place though is the proximity to the coast, but the insulation from the coastal weather as it is 10 or so miles inland. Flying the Coquille River valley out to Bandon By The Sea at 1000 AGL is a nice flight. During the hotter days of summer and early fall, swimming in the river just next to the airport is really nice.
