Proposed Backcountry use closures

Here's another attempt to close off our public lands from all user groups of our public lands. Granted, there are Assholes in all groups (Except us Pilots!) that might deface or trash areas but I'm firmly in the belief that they are the minority and should be punished on an individual basis. DO NOT regulate the masses for the transgressions of the few. That seems to be the way of the NIMBY's and the Government. but then again, my views of the function of our Government may seem a little antiquated.........

Common sence is not a prerequisit when hireing employees for our USFS.

There are other groups like the Access Fund who are doing similar work for other user groups like motorcyclists.

I agree with Kurt, cutting a wide swath is not the answer. Education and consequences on an individual basis are.
