PSA: Floats, Props on ANC Gov't Liquidation

Don't often see this stuff come up on this site. Looks like a prop for a 182, and Edo 2960s suitable for a 180/5?? Also another prop. Floats don't include rigging. Looks well used.

Military flying club stuff. You can bet it's well "used". But, if you got it cheap enough..... From the looks of those prop blades I'm betting you'd be buying new ones. Maybe.

Even a Gov't Carbon Cub for auction up here. I'd hate to be the guy at the office that swamped the new CC!

Man that looks a lot like the plane Zane just delivered. Shame, that was a nice plane.

You wish that was the case.
Two huskys, Kodiak, that cub in last couple three years? Probably more.... thats ones that come to mind…
Anyway, they aren't short on bent metal. Product of hiring low time biologists or cops and giving them an airplane rather than Professional Pilots IMO. But name a govt branch thats not AFU…. :)

Re: PSA: Floats, Props on ANC Gov't Liquidation

Without rigging? Not much. New rigging would cost $10 K maybe. You might find used rigging.

In good shape, WITH rigging, they might be worth $10,000.

I bought a set of 2960's with off a 180 complete in Soldatna Ak. They need new bottom sheet metal and a bit of planishing here and there. Paid one thousand. Even included the bolts for the fuselage attach points.. Will shorten 18" to create 2870's. Paid more for barge shipping to Platinum than the floats purchase.
