PSA: Great Start on a Bushplane Conversion

A friend forwarded me a listing form Barnstormers.com for a "square tail" 57 172 that had been taken apart for refurbish. It had an engine and the wings were still on it, for $2500. Somewhere in Pennsylvania.

Since I've had several people from this forum contact me with interest in my tailwheel conversion kit, and a couple of them said they might go out and buy an old 172 to do it, I thought I'd post this as a PSA if it wouldn't violate any of the rules here.

Assuming this is not damaged or corroded, it would make a GREAT start on a very capable back country airplane for someone. If it was on this end of the country I'd snap it up in a heartbeat I'm sure you can find it easily on barnstormers.
