The faster I go , the farther behind I get.

The other thing too. With most of us carrying camera's in the plane, next time you have an interesting encounter with an FAA inspector like that, take pictures or video for evidence to show that this guy did in fact pull in front of a moving plane/prop and acted irresponsible.

Re: Ramp Check

The only time I've endured a ramp check, they only asked for pilot certificate, medical certificate, and photo id. However, I was angry that they even stopped me. If they were cops, they would need probable cause, and if cops exceed their authority you can seek justice in the courts which are a separate branch of gov't.

One of my greatest complaints against the FAA is that they have dispensed with the whole notion of checks and balances. They are the arresting officer, judge, jury, and executioner. No matter how well they do their jobs, the system is broken and just waiting for someone to abuse it.

Re: Ramp Check

Instead of throwing those old sectionals away send them to me I am trying to make a sectional mural to go on the wall in my hanger. As of now I'm limited to sectionals here in the Mid atlantic. Duplicates can always be used as fire starter for the cookstove.
Thanks in advance.

Please send your old sectionals to me at
