Rans crash in California

I hope this wasn't one of ours. No details in the report, but it looks like a Rans aircraft. The pilot may be better off than the plane since it sounds like he will be able to fly again.

Registered as a Rans S6ESwith Dave R Holt as the owner... I do now t know him but I hope he make a full recovery... That looks like a nasty one..

Miracle he's OK. That looked bad.

I've been to Bridgeport a number of times. Flat area and very easy approach but winds off the nearby eastern Sierras can be weird and DA can be very high there. I don't know if they were factors.
