I like the forward cable/spring attach points, on the lower longeron..... it all looks real simple and low drag, and the price is right. Any skegs or are they totally smooth on the bottom? I like the color matching the aircraft too, nice touch!

Thanks for the compliment. No skeg on the bottom, not sure if I need it since the tire sticks down. We thought it might be too much yellow by painting the skis to match but I think it looks good.
I can see how your skis might slow you down when in the "wheel down" position, it appears that the ski tip is riding high. But in the "ski" position I would think they would be fairly streamline.
Now that we have the skis on the S7, all of the snow is melting. I went up into mountains last weekend with the Kitfox and landed in a few snow covered areas but the snow was hard and crunchy.
I'll be meeting with the "Tribal Elders" to arrange a snow dance!
