Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Red Hills Easter Picnic

Hawk, Chris R, Scott V & myself spent a day at the Red Hills airstrip for their annual Easter Event. Scott brought out his new flying machine and the rest of us flew in from Concord.

It was a perfect day in the Sierra Foothills. Clear skies, light winds and comfortable temperature for the whole day. The recent rains have the area so green that one might think they are in Ireland instead of California. Wildflowers are in bloom everywhere.

We spent the day visiting, eating and watching the children have a great time.

Here is a summary of the day if any of you wonder what you missed. Enjoy!

You're never too old to learn something stupid.

Re: Red Hills Easter Picnic

Thanks for the video Rich. It's hard to show all the fun everyone was having but, you did a great job. It was a good time had by all. I hope some of the people on this site will see how great a place this is for a fly-in and how hospitable the Moyle's are. All pilots are welcome here for the Easter Potluck Fly-Ins and the Memorial weekend Annual Fly-Ins.

Looking forward to the 3rd Annual Memorial Red Hills Fly-In, May 27-29, 2016.
