This is titled 1964 first year of the races but 64 and 65 were at Sky Ranch, Spanish Springs and this is clearly at Stead. I am positive it is 1966, the first year there. Thats actor Cliff Robertson and hot(to all young pilots)blond actress-pilot Susan Oliver. She had just lost the celebrity race by 3 seconds to Robertson.Check out the people, planes, and cars.
The big iron was largely unmodified, the ramp was casual and life was good. Not what things looked like there 45 years later.
