There are a few strips in the wild and scenic area of the Rogue River downstream of Grants Pass, Oregon. Anybody have any info on them. Who has landed on them and do you need permission.

Half Moon and Paradise are private/x-out and the word is don't go there. They seem to be really concerned about fire this time of year........
Agness (Lucas Lodge) is open if you get permission. Google Lucas Lodge and get the phone #. Linda will give you the "early arrival/departure speech" and you should be set. Great place to land, rent a cabin and great food.
There is some video around here somewhere of Agness.

A friend totaled his 58 182 at Half Moon. Came in little to fast with some dew still on the grass. No one hurt. New owner is concerned about liability. Cannot blame him. Think liability is the biggest enemy to our kind of flying.
