Associated Press wrote:GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) — A woman hit in the head by a small plane at Lee Gilmer Airport is recovering.
Police Lieutenant Brian Kelly says 72-year-old William Hohns of Acworth was the pilot of the plane that hit 41-year-old Amy Dunahoo.
Kelly says the left wing of the plane struck the woman when she stepped into its path as the 1977 Piper was taxiing for takeoff Sunday.
She was airlifted to North Fulton Hospital and is reported to be in good condition.
Kelly says it's the first time he's seen a pedestrian-airplane accident.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
WTF?
Yeah, my sister-in law once walked into the trailing edge of my flap on the 180, but I think even she was smart enough not to walk in front of a moving plane....Thank God I have the little rounded trailing edge instead of the earlier style!

If this is the one I heard about Fri., she was a pilot, had bought a skipper from a friend in Dawson Ga. I got this from him. Anyway the old man ran her down from behind and due to noise at the airport, she didn't hear him and he didn't see her.
