Sad day for Regal Aviation

Regal Pilot Dave Oberg was killed in a 206 crash at Rainy Pass. He went by @dhdriver here on BCP.

Nothing to say, just a sad deal, for them, for all of us pilots who endeavor to do this stuff. Thoughts are with his family and the Regal team.

Re: Sad day for Regal Aviation

Dave was a very good friend, whom I got to know back in my Kodiak days. Dave had a LOT of experience flying in Alaska.

If it could bite him, it could bite any of us. Be careful out there, folks.

RIP Dave, and condolences to his family and the employees of Regal Air.

Tough deal.
