San Diego Area meetup

I already posted this but it was in the 'registered users' area, which means if someone isn't logged in, or lurking, they wouldn't get it.

I will be in Mexicali for the next two weeks for work, am able to get to the San Diego area on Sundays so if anyone in the area wants to get together for coffee or beer let me know,
Wes

I won't be there but If you don't drive up to Seeley for a La Pasadita burrito you're cheating yourself. 10 minute drive for greatness. Just sayin

Wes, if you traveling by car it is slightly less than 1,000 miles south to our place and we owe you a dinner! If you are traveling via Beaver, it would certainly look majestic parked in front on the Sea of Cortez if on floats or 4 miles away if on wheels. :D

The burrito sounds great, if I don't hear from anyone I am gonna head up to Palm Springs to see their air museum.

Uncle O'Bama has the whole middle of the state tied up today. Fresno and Panoche VOR - 30 NM no fly zone.

Wish I could make it down to San Diego but that's pretty far. Oregon is closer. :)

Re: San Diego Area meetup

yes I am home this weekend... was helmsman for a friend on his 42 ft Grand Banks in a Predicted log race... Its a navigation race where boat captains predict time over a multi leg course... I just drive the boat... he does the predicting and figuring and throttle work... all I have to do is steer and be sure to roll out on compas headings accurately... take my word for it a 42 ft Grand Banks responds way slower than a Maule. but Piloting skills do come in handy....
