SE trip home AK-WA.

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

It some times gets better as you go, Left my cell phone in the motel in Tok! :-({|= Flight service told me about 90 miles out of Whitehorse =D>
HAd a good visit with J-M, Of course did not have Jons phone to call him
Had a bite to eat and then hit the road, had made the corne and headed towards Prince George headed down the trench when Whitehorse Radio tracked me down and said the new report showed an ocluded front just north of McKenzie, ice in the clouds and mabye some Freezing rain under, so we parked it here, Had a pretty little gal who happens to fly Black Sheeps Beaver on Wheel skis get the 210 all tucked in for the night, Darwin let me borrow his Covers and a heater, Have it plugged in and if that doesnot work Rachel is going to meet us ther @ 9 and we'll see if we can make it run(weather permitting) [-o<

Sounds like its going well. Flying the fraser all the way down? That's a beautiful flight. Flew it this spring coming from Victoria with a 150.

Re: SE trip home AK-WA.

Man I thought I posted last night from Watson Lake<
Anyway had to stay there as Prince George and just North of there went to Crap!!
Had a good goat rope this morning, getting started.
Made it to Williams Lake to grab a couple of liters of gas, call customs and got to Dorthy Scott about Dark, My Bride found out that you can use your inhanced driversz license to drive across and to boat across the border but it won't work when you fly!!??
A little chewing and a warning to not try that again!!
A ny way home about 5:30 tonight, My brother came up and ran all the deer off the runway and parked on the end with his headlights shining down the strip, All I had to do was miss his taillights by 10 feet and we were home, Damn sure feels good.
Will up date some later!!

With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).
