If you're not familiar with the Searey, it is a LSA amphibious flying boat/taildragger that is offered as a complete SLSA or as a kit, generally powered by the Rotax 912/914/915 4-stroke variants. You should be seeing the new banner ads appearing on pages.
The design is very refined, as it's been around for a number of years, and the community of pilots and builders is very established. Kevin Oaks, the Searey marketing head is a BCP member and flies floats down in Florida near the Searey headquarters. Feel free to ask him questions here in this thread, by private message, or by email: kevin.oaks[at]searey.com
I am very excited about this new relationship, and hopefully will be heading to Florida to capture an adventure in a Searey later this year. The Searey seems to me to be a super versatile option for exploring land as well as water, and the taildragger configuration appeals to me more than amphibious floats.

Cool vid from Paul Bertorelli of AvWeb.com flying the new 915/MT powered Searey with designer Kerry Richter:
This fellow named Don Maxwell on Youtube has a ton of great Searey flying videos, many of operating on wheels:
