Seattle Area A&P

Hi all, looking for insight on local mechanics. New plane owner here, based at BFI for now, looking for a good Cessna / Lycoming mechanic who doesn't mind an owner over his/her shoulder occasionally. (gotta learn somehow). C206 with an IO 540, naturally aspirated, g1000.

I got a great pre-buy, BTW, from John Efinger at Cessnarigging. I'd gladly recommend him if anyone here is looking in the Ft Worth area.

I’m based at Paine, but find it worthwhile to go to Dean Riley/Sound Maintenance at KFHR. Solid guy. Honest, fair and accessible.

Thanks. Any excuse to go to the Juan’s is usually a good one.

Check out Normandy Aircraft, operated by Logan. They have been based out of S36 for awhile but are making a movie to Auburn/S50 (a short 5 min flight from BFI!

Absolutely great crew and I'm sure they'd love to help you out.

Or try Tim Boughner at Tim's Aircraft. He's located at Vaughan Ranch (WN13). That's just across the Sound from KBFI in Port Orchard. It's a tight grass strip, but he's really good and doesn't mind owners stocking around. I always do an owner assist annual with him. He found things on my Maule that Maule Flight missed.
