September 2023 Family Idaho Backcountry Adventure

Took the family out to the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness last weekend. We had a fantastic adventure!

Looks like a great time! The girls sure are cute...especially the dancing to the dads' pickin'. The Skywagon keeps delivering.

That's friggin awesome! We have twin girls, now in their 30's. That age is the best. I always say enjoy them when you can, before you know it they might be living with a raft guide in Chile.... AND Son Volt, who knew they would be perfect for a flying vid. Never would have put that puzzle together.

That was most excellent. Thanks for sharing. The one airplane camping trip I took when my kids were young was an absolute disaster for a bunch of reasons. My grown kids still don't want anything to do with flying, and both have motion sickness problems. Sigh.

That's too bad. Ours get the barfies every once in a while, but they know that we are going somewhere fun when we go, so they hop right on board.

Man that's the good stuff.
Tomorrow you'll wake up and they'll be 21 going on 30 flying for Delta. But those days will be kept forever. Where does it all go?

Mules, horses, kids and planes. That's heaven on earth for me

Take care, Rob

Have I met that pup?

The best stuff I've yet discovered! There's nothing imaginable that I would trade these priceless memories for.

That is the truth and, a very good question! It just keeps getting more real and more interesting, and I expect for that trend to continue for a while longer...

I'll reach out before we go on our fall adventure next year. It would be fantastic to meet up with you in Idaho!

Indeed you met The Hooligan at Tebay Lakes years ago.
