With the big storm barreling down on us tonight bringing an anticipated 4-6 feet of snow I spent yesterday flying around looking at the various water bodies in the backcountry and re-familuerizing (is that a word?) myself with the meadows and high smooth ridges for ski flying next week. Its that time so skis are going on today! Goodbye bushwheels (for now).
Check out these pics of the shooting cracks. The ice is close in some parts and not even kind of in others. Currently its 12F outside and should stay cold for the next week at least with the big storm. Ski flying will be on next week...
Anyone else have their skis on yet? Tom?
