Short trip into the field

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Short trip into the field

Met up with a local s7 pilot today to return some fuel cans I inadvertently borrowed so in return I got a free ride out of the deal. Really, a win win....... Anyway, we flew around the local OG patch (oil n gas) to look at the new well they are flaring and to revisit a strip we didn't get to land the last time we were up in the area.

After losing an almost 15 minute edit of the last trip we made due to my computer biting the dust, I decided to post a short piece of the action from today. I still have all the videos from that first trip I took with the OBP a couple weeks ago so hopefully with this new hard drive I can get back to editing and post a decent length video. In the meantime ill give you this.

Here's the description from Vimeo:
Dropping in on Johnny's day of fence building. I got landing clearance a few weeks prior and the last time we were in the area Greg decided we better not scare the horses. I told Johnny why we didn't land that day, and he said that we better land the next time we came through! So we did. And he was happy. And so were we. (Can u tell?)

I think I know the S7 pilot you're talking about. Skinny kid, unhinged, runs a whip cream pipeline from Mongo's hangar to Coshocton.
