Show us Your Tug.

I had some troubles this winter trying to push back into the hangar on ice when solo... And then there's those times when I'd like to go top it off with fuel but don't plan to fly immediately after, or want to fire up the engine.

After researching various tugs and seeing the astronomical price of them on the market, I came up with this multi purpose device: (have since bolted a ball hitch to the front plate too)

The best way to deal with punctuation nazis like this halestorm guy is to use the edit button and correct the title, then he looks crazy.

Made for towing motorcycles, but with an additional fence for a smaller tire, it works great for tailwheels too.

Off to the wash rack!

Ha BC Pilotguy, I have the same model of tug but it runs on steak and scotch. It is getting older and does not have the power of the old days so I incorrperate a power booster (wife) when ever possible. My power booster seems to run well on jewelry and wine.

Yes sir, it's an Argo Response I purchased many years ago. I used it alot around my property and it really is a go anywhere (well, most anywhere) machine. Like anything, you can get it stuck if you don't use a little common sense. I didn't use it much the last few years. I originally bought it due to my wife getting orders for Alaska. I had hoped to take it up there for exploring and hunting. Soon after buying it, our orders were changed to go to Hawaii! Not much use for it over there so I hauled it up to my place here in MN and used it around the woods and swamps. Great machine if it is maintained correctly. I just sold it last week with only 130 hours on the meter.

This is my favorite tug, a 34' Nordic Tug.

Contrary to what's painted on the stern, it's not from Montana, although the owners were. This was taken out in the wilds of BC, Canada, specifically at Princess Louisa, the absolute most beautiful place on this earth.
