Re: SIGMET EASTERN PACIFIC

I searched for a good webcam of the action today, but didn't come up with anything great. Any recommendations?

Just got to KONP it has been dry for over a month here. Sky clear, unlimited visibility. Looks like the sky's of Arizona. High today 65F, 15 degrees hotter than a few days last July. Wind topped at 31kts mid-day.

Scout...

Removed the preservative oil, set the timing, cleaned sparkplugs, put on the ski bungees and flew around the pattern for a test flight. May have to go clear to Idaho for some ski flying. Oh well. It's been an interesting winter so far.

Stopped at Ho'okipa yesterday to gawk. Still big, beautifully formed waves. Got my loaner 8-0 fish, but will look for something smaller to paddle out.

Re: SIGMET EASTERN PACIFIC

"Fish" boards are not seen in Hawaii much! You may prefer a 9' 6" single or Thruster!

Hope you have fun and be really careful!. 8)
