Ski Dolly's
Two of the best inventions ever, skis and airplanes, together.
Hey guys, what are you guys using for ski Dolly's for getting straight skis across pavement? I only found one old topic, figured it would be useless reviving it from the dead.
So lets see your Dolly's.

I thought about that when getting "skied up " 3 yrs ago, but finally decided retractable wheel skis were a better choice for my situation. I sure would like to just have straight skis, lighter, cheaper, and simpler. No help here, sorry.

I would love some wheel skis, but after flying my friends cub on skis, they really set the hook. Another friend has a set for me to try out, straight skis.

Tom - I have two different sets of dollies. The scout has dual wheels (see picture) and the cub has single wheel dolly. (see photo for the dolly hole). They could be easily made, but borrow a set to copy exactly so the over center part works right.

The dollies I made for the cub used 800x6 tires. I wanted to cam over center to raise the skis off the ground but I also wanted the wheels to lift up high enough to slide in or out easily when the skis were down. This is most easily achieved by not using the lower axel hole with the Aero skis but rather going through the axel itself.

I had a ski dolly once but she never wanted to leave the rug in front of the fireplace. I'm not complaining, mind you.
